"Development of New Technology of Electra and Heat conductive Metallized Polyimide Constructs with High Reflectivity"

Abstract: The project is directed on the development of the metallized polyimide films obtaining technology (with metals: silver, cobalt, nickel, platinum, gold, palladium), which could find their use as collectors and light reflectors for accumulation and solar energy transmission, antennas, antiradar shielding and also as chips for microelectronics. Kazakh-American JSC «KK Interconnect» has taken interest in the further development of the product. That is a unique opportunity for Kazakhstan to develop the national economy through new products and advanced technologies. The object of this project is development of the new technology of non-traumatic polyimide films metallization as well as foundation of coatings on the basis of polyimides and their macromolecular blends for the purpose of obtaining of constructs with mirror surface of high electric and heat conductivity.
